Job Title: Senior Group Accountant

Reports to: Group Financial Controller

My client is an international real estate investment management firm managing over £20 billion AUM globally. The Senior Group Accountant provides vital financial information and supports finance operations, blending accounting expertise with business management skills. The Group Finance team manages 100+ corporate entities, delivering consolidated financial reports and insights to stakeholders regularly.

Purpose of the Job:

• Oversee corporate finance matters across the organization, including board reporting, treasury management, and company secretarial services.
• Deliver key consolidated Group reports to senior management, including management accounts and annual budgets.
• Improve corporate reporting quality and collaborate with local subsidiaries on financial queries and system-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare key consolidated Group reports, including monthly management accounts and quarterly forecasts.
• Coordinate global finance teams across 16 locations for timely reporting.
• Implement consistent entity-level board reporting and assist with annual Group statutory audit coordination.
• Provide accurate Group cash flow forecasts and ensure efficient treasury management.
• Ensure regulatory and tax compliance across all entities.
• Lead ad-hoc projects and assist in corporate M&A tasks.
• Support Anaplan and Hyperion system proficiency within the team.
• Job Requirements:
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with 5+ years’ corporate finance experience.
• Proficient in IFRS and UK GAAP accounting, with strong Excel skills.
• Effective communication and time management abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate.
