Financial Accountant
Salary: £60,000/yr
One of the largest privately owned global investment management firm specialising in multiple investment strategies including Private equity and Real estate assets is looking to hire a Financial Accountant.
This role works with the business’ European corporate/group entities, overseeing consolidated financial statements for statutory audit and coordinating with US and European teams for timely information submission. It encompasses statutory reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and cash management, requiring comprehensive financial expertise.
A suitable candidate will be a qualified accountant and should demonstrate proactive independence and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for statutory audit (under IFRS/ US GAAP) with all supporting notes and schedules.
- Liaise with European teams to resolve any issues and ensure timely submission of information.
- Prepare corporation tax computations, including transfer pricing adjustments.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, working closely with country teams to develop accurate forecasts.
- Monitor cash flows and liquidity position.
Key requirements:
- ACA or equivalent accounting qualification
- Strong MS Office skills
- Prior exposure to IFRS and US GAAP
- Prior experience with consolidations
- JD Edwards knowledge or skills (desirable)
