Global Real Estate Investment Manager
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced asset or portfolio manager to join a prestigious global real estate investment management business. The firm continues to grow rapidly and is in the process of expanding its European footprint and the products and strategies it offers.
You will be joining a high profile team that provide strategic management of separate account mandates investing into UK & European PBSA (Student Accomodation) assets and Build to Rent (BTR).
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic asset/portfolio management of a UK PBSA portfolio.
- Development of asset level asset business plans in conjunction with the Fund Manager.
- Execution of business plans to optimise performance against the portfolio/fund strategy
- Implementation of asset management initiatives including lettings, rent reviews, tier strategy, opex & maintenance, operator performance, refurbishments and hold / sell analysis.
- Oversight of operatoring partners including developing budgets, KPIs and procedures relating to all asset management matters.
- Supporting the transactions team on the market facing, sourcing and acquisition of assets for the portfolio and their successful onboarding.
- Development of asset level asset business plans in conjunction with the Fund Manager.
- Producing and presenting investment committee papers.
- Assisting with the preparation and execution of disposal strategies.
- External and internal reporting and client liaison, as well as reporting to banks and lenders.
- Financial cash flow odelling, performance reporting and evaluation of proposed initiatives.
- Implementation of Responsible Investment (i.e. ESG and impact) requirements in accordance with company objectives, policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in an asset, portfolio or fund management role in Real Estate
- Demonstrable know of PBSA, Student Accomodation or Build to Rent (BTR) asset classes
- A Real Estate degree and RICS qualified is preferred
- Good Excel skills including financial modelling of appraising a wide range of asset management initiatives
- Experience with Argus desirable but not essential
