Fund Controller
This is an excellent opportunity for a fund controller to join a global independent investment management company and their fund finance team. The business is in a rapid growth phase and is in the process of expanding its global reach as well as the products offered.
This would be an interesting position for a fund accounting professional with aspirations for a more hands-on role.You would be joining a very dynamic, ambitious team ready to onboard a new member to help with the exciting growth period.
Working across multi-asset, pan-European funds you would be responsible for all
management and financial accounting and reporting for all entities within your funds and mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and managing all key relationships including auditors and service providers and providing local Finance support and advice to non-Finance colleagues and investors.
- Coordinating the preparation and audit of annual financial statements for funds.
- Supporting the financial side of transactions in conjunction with the Senior Fund Finance Manager, the portfolio managers, Head of Treasury and Head of Tax.
- Being the financial representative for the fund for both the client services team and investors.
- Taking care of cash management, day to day banking and assisting where possible in the securing of debt or credit lines.
Key Requirements:
- 5 years’+ PQE
- Strong academic background
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of IFRS (and local GAAP, if IFRS is not accepted locally)
- Knowledge of local corporate and VAT taxation requirements
- Previous experience in Real Estate is beneficial
