Senior Management Accountant
A leading developer, operator and investor in the UK flexible working space is looking to onboard a Senior Management Accountant. The business is currently going through a phenomenal growth phase, being backed by one of the largest global PE investment managers in the world. A new entrant into the market that is changing the way in which people work, the business offers a great platform for those excited by businesses that innovate and drive change.
The Senior Management Accountant would take full ownership of partnering with asset management across the business’s operational portfolio, providing analysis on deviations from budget. You would also be responsible for leading the month end reporting process in conjunction with a team of management accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the revenue and operating costs across the portfolio providing analysis to building managers when required
- Business partnering with sales, marketing, IT, legal, etc to provide insightful analysis to aid decision making
- Complete month end tasks including full P+L and balance sheet for entities under management
- Line management of one management accountant
- Preparation of reporting packs for external investors
- Review exiting process and identify areas for improvement and efficiency
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with at least 1-2 years post qualified experience
- Experience working within a fast moving sector / multi site portfolio (Real Estate, Retail, FMCG, etc)
- Strong academic attainment. 2.1 from a credible university and strong a-level performance
- A team player and the ability to communicate well with non-financial stakeholders
